Little Fish Toddler Group
Our toddler group, Little Fish, meets on Wednesday mornings during term time from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Children aged 0 – 3 years old (to the end of the term in which the child become 3) are very welcome.
There are toys and craft activities available, and we have a song time towards the end of the session. We serve coffee and tea to parents and carers but ask that you bring your own drinks and nut-free* snacks for your children. Childminders are very welcome but with a maximum of two children each. The charge for each session is £1.00 per adult.

Fish & Bricks Pre-school
Fish & Bricks Pre-school aims to ensure that every child has the opportunity to continue to develop his/her capabilities and potential socially, physically, artistically, spiritually, academically and intellectually through play.
Messy Church
Whether you are new to church and want to find out about Jesus and the Bible for the first time or you just love learning more about Jesus in a non-traditional way, then come and join us for Messy Church.All children must be accompanied by an adult. Messy Church takes place on a Saturday morning 9.30-11am once a half-term. Join us for a light breakfast and then explore the Bible through stories, songs, creative activities and games. Messy Church is all-age but is particularly perfect for those with children or just the young at heart. So come along with your family, a friend or on your own to meet new people and learn more about Jesus in a fun, friendly, informal setting.

Table Tennis Club
Our friendly Table Tennis Club runs weekly on a Monday evening and welcomes players of all ages and abilities.
Come along and be part of our fun and welcoming community – learn how to improve your game, get some good exercise and make some new friends too!
Our Advanced players join at 6.00pm, followed by our famous ‘revolving doubles’ at 6.45pm when our Improvers join and we play all together; finally our Improvers receive their coaching from 7.15pm to 8.00pm.
All coaching is led by qualified Table Tennis England Coach, Brett Holt.
We also periodically run friendly competitions – Paired Leagues, Americanos, Paired Knock out. Maybe you could be the next Champion?!
Befriended
Gateway Baptist Church is proud to partner with Befriended, which was set up in 2017 with the mission of ending loneliness and isolation among older people living in Mid Sussex.
Sunday Afternoon Tea Parties
We run and host tea parties four times a year – great company, entertainment, chat and laughter and of course plenty of tea, sandwiches and cake!
Befriended Balance Classes
- We also host Balance classes weekly on a Wednesday afternoon.
- The classes are suitable for everyone of any ability so if you want to come and enjoy some exercise with friendly people pop along on Wednesday afternoons at 2 o’clock. We look forward to seeing you.

Healing Rooms
Burgess Hill Healing Rooms takes place twice a month on the first and third Friday of each month at Gateway Baptist Church from 7.00pm – 8.30pm.
If you need a miracle come along, all are welcome!
Healing Rooms are for anyone who is suffering from any form of sickness, emotional or mental health issues, relationship or financial problems. There is no issue too small or too great and you don’t have to be a church goer or a person of faith.
We would consider it a privilege to minister to you, but would ask you to book a free appointment to ensure we can fit you in.

CAP Money Course

Gateway Baptist Church is here to help! From time to time we run a free ‘CAP Money’ course. This will be for in-person attendance (not online). It will run over a 3 week period starting, usually at 19:30, with each session approximately 1.5 hours duration.
